Rhode Island Passes Clean Lighting Legislation

On June 22nd, 2023, Rhode Island passed H5550 which phases out all fluorescent lighting by 2025. This new law will save Rhode Island consumers $20 million on electricity bills in 2030 as the state transitions to efficient, mercury-free LEDs.
