Pakistan Prohibits Manufacture, Sale & Export of CFLs

In February, the Pakistan Ministry of Science & Technology announced a law that would prohibit the manufacture, sale & import of incandescent lamps & mercury-containing compact fluorescent lamps with effect from July 1 this year.
