CLiC advocates pledge to support the accelerated phase-out of toxic mercury-based fluorescent lighting through the Minamata Convention on Mercury. The Advocate Pledge is an opportunity for NGOs, associations and other partner organizations to contribute concretely to the Clean Lighting Coalition campaign through advocacy, government engagement, and communications.

CLiC industry partners are demonstrating that LED manufacturers and assemblers are ready for a universal transition to clean lighting. Signing the Industry Pledge demonstrates to governments worldwide that the LED industry is prepared to meet growing demand for LED lighting and signals that exemptions for fluorescents are no longer necessary.
